Welcome to the 2008 Idaho State Democratic Convention!

Are you coming to Idaho’s Democratic State Convention in June?

At Idaho’s Democratic Caucuses in February, 382 people were elected to represent local Democrats at our State Convention. They have received their packets and are planning to come to Boise on June 12-14 along with hundreds of other Democrats. This will probably be the biggest State Democratic Convention in Idaho history.

Election of Idaho’s National Delegates.

Many Democrats are mounting campaigns to become National Delegates to Represent Idaho at the National Convention in Denver in August. They will be elected by the State Delegates at the State Convention in June.

Will you help sponsor the State Convention?

The rules of our party – reflecting the values of full participation by all Democrats – do not allow us to charge delegates a fee to participate in the State Convention. For the convention to be a success, we must ALL invest in it to ensure we cover the cost of things like the rental of the convention center at the Doubletree Riverside Hotel, all the materials that delegates need, equipment for communications, etc. Will you help? We will thank you with recognition at the convention including in the printed program. See our sponsorship levels here.

An evening on the town!

On Friday evening June 13, convention participants will be shuttled to Downtown Boise to enjoy an evening on the town. Do you know a business that would like to encourage Democrats to gather in their establishment? Encourage them to be a sponsor and we’ll be sure to include their coupons other materials in the convention packets.
